Soaring melodies, relentless hooks and epic choruses – We Wanted To Be The Sky are a shiny new noise-pop band. Their music is melodic, mathy and relentless. Like a classic soap opera with a set full of cliff-hangers, WWTBTS carefully craft songs with lessons of escape, desire, drama and random elements from the periodic table. Their song, Fire, was recently remixed by the legendary Chris Mac from multi-award winning Kiwi band, SIX60. The track is available for free download exclusively through Bandcamp and Triple J's Unearthed site. Facebook: facebook.com/wewantedtobethesky Twitter: @wwtbts
