Born in South East London, moved to Australia in 2001. Started performing at the age of 14. In several bands playing a mixture of covers and originals. In the duo Andy and Buzz headlined the folk workshop at The Deptford Free Festival. Started performing under the name of Wednesday's child in 1996. Wednesday's Child comes from the nursery ryhme by mother goose; 'Wednesday's Child is full of woe'. I was first called Wednesday's Child by my grandmother as a reference to the fact that as a child I rarely smiled.
