European-inspired but Australian-made, Wendy Lang creates “snowglobe pop”: heartfelt musical worlds crafted from playful lyrics, whimsical melodies and lush vocal harmonies...all to fit in the palm of your hand! Hailing from Brisbane, Australia, she began playing clarinet at the age of 10 and wrote her first song excerpt around the age of 13. It was an alt-hillbilly number about a potted cactus with an insufficient supply of dirt. After several folk music detours playing Celtic, Balkan and Middle Eastern folk music around Brisbane, she wanted to take her smorgasbord of musical influences and merge them with pop. "Funky T-Shirt" is written by Wendy Lang. "Strange Boy" is written by Wendy Lang and Andrei Maberley.
