Perth-based singer-songwriter Whiskey Jack is known for his smooth sound, timeless vocals and poetic lyricism. With folk, alt-country, and Americana influences, he crafts a distinctive sound that pushes boundaries. Named after the grey jay, a clever bird of the North American wilderness, his music captures everyday beauty with heartfelt storytelling and introspection. In a landmark year, Whiskey Jack released his second EP ‘Extra Luck’, was handpicked by Angus & Julia Stone for the Wild Turkey House of Music mentorship programme in Sydney, and took home the 2025 WAM Country Song of the Year for his single Wild Card.
