If White Light Station was a Sharknado sequel movie, the sharks would be funk-rock and the tornadoes would be indie-punk. Bred in Brisbane, the band are well known to the bars of Fortitude Valley for their mosh-inspiring breakdowns and heart crunching choruses. Despite fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, the band have recently released their strongest single to date, Samaritan. Founding members Jono Frowd and Kurt Boldy made it their mission to find a modern rock dream team. With each member taking their core influence from different genres, the new wave of music to be released is eclectic, but fundamentally made to get a crowd dancing and fist pumping. They’re a bit insane and a bit cheeky. But that’s what everyone wants right?
