A love of the deep southern blues unites these down and out bunch of drunken yobbos and brings to life songs from the bottom of our schooner glasses.Having never been to the USA but seen many movies and listened to old LP's of the great blues artists not only have we paid our dues but probably a bit of someone elses as well. The songs have more bounce in their melodies than Keith Richards falling out of a coconut tree and a little of his swagger is captured in the skanky rhythms. Lead guitarist Paul captures the spirit of the great blues guitarists whilst the singer Charles channels the magic of Robert Johnson and Willie Dixon Add to this the incessant beat of Derrick " kiss my tom toms" on the jungle drums and the bass playing of Trevor " bigguss dickuss" Smith and you have The Wild Blue Angels. Absolute blues rip off rubbish at its best.
