Hailing from the small coastal town of Dunsborough in the South West of Western Australia, Wild Oak is the project of gifted singer Oakley Driscoll, bringing her introspective acoustic work to a full band sound. Interweaving captivating vocals of personal stories with soulful melodies, Wild Oak produces music that is easy listening yet with plenty of depth. Blurring the lines between indie folk/rock and electro pop the band seamlessly blends intricate acoustic guitar melodies with modern synth and ambient sounds to create their own unique brand of genre traversing alternative pop. Following their self-titled first release in 2019, Wild Oak’s follow up single “Promises” delivers a more alternative sound whilst still staying true to the bands indie folk roots.
