Born in the Blue Mountains in NSW. Listening to Windy has been likened to a soundtrack in the background of a dark and moody film. With a strong basis in songwriting supported by dreamy guitars and heart wrenching vocals, Windy will sweep you away. Learning violin, guitar and vocals at a young age Windy later stepped into songwriting - travelling to LA in 2014 to join writing workshops by industry leaders. Some of Windy’s influences include Sarah Blasko, Willie Nelson, Dusty Springfield, Angel Olsen, Fleetwood Mac, and Laura Marling, and her sound is often compared to early work by artist Jewel.
