Winter Wait are an indie folk group based on the Mornington Peninsula. They capture a mix of experimental folk, slow rock/blues and dirty noise. Formerly known as 'Spin', they changed their name to 'Winter Wait' to set new direction for the band. Winter Wait had been chosen to appear on a folk compilation album from LA, United States, called Acoustika, which will be distributed in early 2010.
