Born in Brisbane, Australia on 19th June 1975, Mike is the only son of two musicians and grew up listening to various types of music ranging from Country to Rock. Mike joined his first alternate originals band The Nikki Skins at the age of 13, which consisted of himself and 3 high school friends. Mike played the drums while the band both recorded and appeared in local venues and parties across the Brisbane area. Later, after moving on through several other bands, he then joined The Foundry (another Brisbane based 3 piece Rock and Blues band) in which he also played drums as well as contributed to the back up harmonies. Whilst doing this, along the way Mike learned both how to play the guitar as well as sing from both band mates and family members who performed all up and down the coastline of Queensland. Today Mike not only plays lead guitar and sings for both local Queensland Mental Health related fundraisers but also appears in pubs and venues all over Queensland. One of the
