The unexpected offspring of a drunken, one-night jam, Woodshed has finally grown up. Long celebrated for their raucous, blues rock and cowpunk roots, Woodshed is preparing to release new music in 2022. In true “woodshedding” fashion, the band has been honing their sound and exploring more subtle shades. Live audiences who have sampled Woodshed’s latest offerings have been treated to a blend of layered grooves and heartfelt lyricism, inspired by the blues and country artists of yesteryear. While the varnish may still be drying on their new tunes, established Woodshed fans will recognise the familiar grain of its hedonistic past.
