Word of the Weak! is a 3 piece, Alternative Pop Punk band from Brisbane. The boys came together searching for something different; something more fun, jumpy, and easy going. Their style of music resembles that of 'jumpy pop punk with a darker side', taking aspects from old school punk rock, hardcore and modern pop punk. Musically, the band combines punk guitar riffs, fast drum beats, melodic pop punk vocals and breakdowns. In essence, the band creates their own blend of alternative modern pop punk. The boys have played their first few months of shows, playing all around South-East Queensland. They have their debut EP set for release for early 2012.
