Named after the grandfather he never got to meet, Wyllem is constantly trying to capture the memory and atmosphere of the world around him when he produces music, which is why he incorporates ambient environmental sounds into much of his work. Sometimes he can't put this into words, and sometimes he finds a vocalist that he can connect with to share what he is trying to say - either way, each song is meant to be a snapshot of anything from celebration to a need for healing. His first single, 'Isolation,' has recently hit the airwaves and it shows an attempt to process the paradox of world-wide collective tension with the quiet, anti-social reality that is the current state of his small, coastal town. With more singles on the way, Wyllem will continue to make sense of the world around him with his art and collaborate with other like-minded artists.
