X&ND (they/them) is a genre-blending NYC artist whose breakout single “Can You Let Me In?” hit one million streams. In 2025, they entered a new chapter—one shaped by liberation, community, and the wild, joyful spirit of funk. Drawing from Sly & The Family Stone, Betty Davis, and Ohio Players, X&ND builds their sound with longtime Sydney collaborators Nico Scali (Loretta, RAGEFLOWER) and Nico Mendoza (BOYSODA, PANIA), crafting a blend of grit, groove, and emotional honesty. Their vision comes alive with a 9-piece band at WHO’S DANCING?, the no-phones live funk party now dominating NYC’s underground. Every show sells out. Every night becomes a reminder of what happens when people are free to move without being watched. From the WHO'S DANCING? movement came the high-voltage anthems "FREAK" and "THE TRUTH", and the soulful reflections “you got it on” and "midnight in paris" the latter revealing how love for self and others has transformed X&ND’s world.
