Tamika Stanton, better known as XIRA (pronounced zeer-uh), has spent the last few years quietly becoming one of dance music's most recognizable voices. Born in Australia and now based in East London, her vocals have featured on tracks with Audien, Nicky Romero, 3LAU and Daniel Allan, amassing millions of streams worldwide. Raised in Adelaide in a jazz-loving family, XIRA later studied music in Sydney before spending time in Austin, Texas and eventually returning to Australia, where she discovered a passion for songwriting. Support from Triple J and a publishing deal quickly followed. While her career was taking off, XIRA faced years of IVF treatment, divorce and ongoing health challenges. Unable to perform for long periods, songwriting became her saving grace. Her latest single, "Feel," is her most personal release yet—a powerful reflection on grief, healing and finding the courage to move through life's darkest moments.
