Uppercut formed in Melbourne's vibrant hardcore scene early in 2013 - tired of trendy fashionable metalcore and bands with nothing to say, the members drew a range of sounds and experiences together to create their set. Blending gruff urgency, ferocious aggression and an ear for melody and songcraft, Uppercut plan to play their first shows in August and remind their scene - and every scene - what happened to the passion. Uppercut are all proudly straight edge and vegetarian or vegan.
