Yasmin de Laine was born and raised in South Australia. Now based in Melbourne, Yasmin is known for her eerie mix of swamp blues and gothic folk, as well as performing in post-hardcore band Post Heaven and post-metal band Lily Of The Valley. In 2023, Yasmin released her debut EP EACH HEART DEVOURS THE OTHER - an emotive exploration of violent, unforgiving, all-consuming love and the nature of our creator, inspired by a quote from 13th century poet and mystic Hadewijch.
