yasmine hosseini has been a music nut from the day she was born. at first, she started off with crappy beatles covers made on an ipad and garageband, but continued to work away feverishly in her preferred studio, the bedroom. 2018 saw the release of her first LP, chiaroscuro, recorded on her macbook. french label The Nice Guys picked it up for official release on spotify and apple music, etc. while she worked to release softer-sounding folk rock EPs. her latest release, ribbons, is a pensive folk record which features purely live instrumentation for the first time ever. keep an eye on her bandcamp to catch whatever whacky sounds she makes next, currently working on many shoegaze/psychedelic pop musics.
