Indie rock three-piece YEEVS have been something of a permanent fixture to Sydney’s music scene. Their sound has morphed from raw and cathartic to something more introspective that elicits intrigue. They are able to play music with a controlled chaos while also maintaining subtlety. With a renewed emotive landscape and atmosphere to their sound, YEEVS are ready to showcase songs from a new album to be released in 2024 with the first being lead single ‘No Plans To Change.’ A self-professed anti self-help song, ‘No Plans To Change’ speaks to the feeling of wanting to pull yourself out of a bad state but not always having the motivation to do so. Written in a prolific period during the lockdown of 2021, lead single 'No Plans To Change' is a real point of difference in the band's sound. The result is a more layered and delicate sonic landscape that shows a great leap forward for the band.
