Yello has recently gone solo after touring Australia and the World with his band B2M. They have been a mainstay of the Northern Territory music scene for the last 15 years. Yello is from Milikapiti 90 miles north of Darwin on Melville Island, NT and sings predominantly in his local Tiwi language. He sings about Island life, culture, hunting and family. Now Solo and unsigned, this new part of his musical journey sees him drawing inspiration from Pacific Island artists such as Oshen, Sharzy, Justin Wellington and Jokema. His latest tracks were produced in collaboration with Minjilang (Croker Island, NT) producer N-Fejo.
