Yen charm night dwellers with supreme electro pop chemistry. Yen have been a fixture on the Sydney scene since 2006, they went about creating music with indisputable freshness, but are still comfortable enough to allow their inspirations - such as Jeff Buckley, Moloko and Massive Attack to permeate their songs. Yen have crammed venues such as The Basement, The Vanguard, Candys Apartment, The Annandale, and Melt, and also played at Peats Ridge Festival, Carriageworks 'Underbelly' festival and were a surprise hit (sending big crowds into a dancing frenzy) at this years Playground Weekender festival, and recent Newtown festival. Not content with being a formidable live act, Yen have hit the studio with vigour, to record their next single 'Closer to Love' - a hauntingly beautiful dance tack that has already attracted radio support and rave reviews.
