Sydney trio Yon Yonson have been writing recording and self-releasing music from their bedroom since 2010. They've performed all over their hometown including supporting US singer-songwriter Devendra Banhart on his Australian tour. They were also featured on Fuse TV's Top 10 Australian Artists to watch, and have been selected as FBi Radio and Time Out Magazines Artist of the Month. "Yon Yonson are the quintessential music for the sake of music outfit that prolifically release excellent records independently of demand of market. There's no slow release campaign to build hype, just releases dropped without fanfare and without pride." - Sound Doctrine "Hyperactive and bursting with frantic ideas; a uniqe mélange of jazz and hip hop samples sprinkled with a refreshing youthful cheekiness. But this doesn't mean Yon Yonson haven't found their sound. It means that their sound is completely volatile, fluid and more satisfying with each listen." - FBi Radio
