Yoshi is a disabled trans POC who escaped childhood abuse/bullying through music. He sang at open mics, played piano at Carnegie Hall thrice by age 13 & began songwriting at 15. At 26, with encouragement from his new choral family (STANCE), he began sharing his songs. His influences are a blend of Indian music, classical piano, choir, & musicals; his songs speak of trauma, family & social justice
