Since meeting as music students in 2012, and drawing on influences ranging from Robert Johnson to Planet X, You People (drummer Morgan Breikers, vocalist Wil Hughes, bassist Luke Penman and guitarist Tom Spurgin) have thrown their varying styles into a blender, added some fresh chopped awesomeness and just a pinch of cumin, and piled the resulting mix all over the toasted sourdough of twenty-something angst, creating a tasty musical bruschetta that will soon be consumed by the hungry ears of the world. The band is currently recording their first EP with Brisbane based sound engineer/producer Charlotte Kirby, and are regularly unleashing their musical vision on an unsuspecting public at a venue near you.
