Travelling Australia as a child with his father, an Avengelist Preacher, Young Dapper’s roots are steeped in the deep harmonies of gospel music. A skilled percussionist, Young Dapper always had dreams of creating new sounds and staging performances. After the passing of his father in 2016, Young Dapper, decided it was time to seriously pursue his own musical journey. He made the switch from percussion to vocals and realised that he had a natural talent for writing and performing powerful melody driven love anthems. With an insistence on nothing but authenticity, Young Dapper’s lyrics are a direct reflection of the moments in his personal life that have had the most significant influence on the person he is today. Over the coming months as more tracks are released, followers will get to experience the many elements that make Young Dapper, uncensored raw personal experiences told through song.
