November 2017 I lost my house due to a fire. I lost all of my material possessions including all my recording equipment and guitars. I sat there in the car that night and cried and was so angry at the universe. Instantly the universe responded. That very moment I felt this absolute completeness. I realised that you have everything you could ever need is right in front of me. My family. Friends. Pets. Love. I am so grateful for this experience. "Don't Lay It On Me" was written about the experience shortly after and was recorded at Home_Brewed_Studio with good friend and amazing producer Nic Pallett out in the Yarra Valley.
