Adelaide-based duo Lizzie Bradley and Mehdi El-Aquil deliver an innovative experience of dubbed-out house beats laced with free-floating jazz vocals. The pair bring together their diverse histories, of singing at the iconic Glastonbury festival and DJing in the throbbing clubs of the summer in Ibiza. The fusion of layered percussive beats, driving bass & melodic string lines under soaring vocals, results in a transportive sonic journey. For live gigs and festivals, Zeequil are often joined on stage by seasoned drummer and percussionist, Christian Teusner. Their second studio album will be released later this year and will include the new tracks that they wrote for their performance at WOMADelaide in March 2016.
