Zen and the Art were formed in the slums of Thornton, crafting their own unique sound derived from their various influences. After countless gigs around the Newcastle region, and a number of lineup changes, Zen and the Art are back better than ever as a three piece, taking any opportunity to put out their music live or through future releases. A blend of loud rock with innovative and sometimes peculiar, yet fitting, out of the ordinary influences ranging from blues/jazz and surf rock, to heavy metal. Just finishing recording an EP which will be released in its entirety in the coming weeks. Two tracks are currently up on our Unearthed page so give them a listen!
