I'm Emm (artist name 'Zen Emm') - I rap for the expression & write for the self-reflection. I'm a Sydney based independent, unsigned rapper/song-writer. My intention is to create music that gives myself and others permission to connect with all the different parts that make us human, the highs, the lows and everything in between. I write on shadow work, spirituality & my own lessons learnt through Eating Disorder recovery. I wish to encapsulate the experiences had, connections shared and memories that make life truly beautiful. For me, music has allowed me to stay present with my emotions & serves as a powerful facilitator for building connection with self and others - after all, what better way is there than to connect over music?
