While bouncing in and out of lockdown, Melbourne’s Zero Cats emerged out of the need for one isolated musician to retain sanity and keep the dust off the bass, drums and other toys lying around in the basement. Choosing the bass as a lead instrument was the key to opening new territory for Zero Cats to explore. The resulting sounds range from funk, dub, alternative and experimental.
